need emu files for commando10, any suggestions ?

heya all, upgraded to the new commando 10c image last night but forgot to backup my emu files (evocamd stuff)...

need some suggestions and possibly advise on where to get replacements and how to install

i've been having trouble with this commando v10.c image from day 1 and have flashed it a zillion times and transferred the files....today i transferred the magic files that i downloaded...and still only fta channels.....what could be wrong santa??

did you put all files in your keys folder ?
also i cant remember dbox setup these days, but try right click on all files in keys folder and CHmod 755.

did the files have 3 x rom7, 3 x rom10, 3 x rom11 ?

you might have old magic files. ?

I done all those files moved...deleted..reflashed...moved...no joy at all....BUT

I WORKED IT OUT....this might help some other peeps in ere as well....my box has always been running EVOCAMD and that is what is on in the menu....I just turned the MGCAMD......and.....................voilllla......it bloody well works....turned evocamd off no worries box kicking.....so I had the wrong cam on.

I think this could be what is wrong with a few of the ones that aint working......

Just turn the MGCAMD on .....

If anyone can be arsed to read the simple 'foldered' info in the file properly, you'd straight away suss that the softcam(s) in /var/bin/emu (or wherever they live in your particular image) MUST be set to chmod 755 via FTP- or they won't work!

It's also made clear that none of the files in /var/keys require chmod changed. These files are all perfectly happy on the default 644 - as none of them are 'executables'.

And the 'magic' contains the three current rom7 files only. How many hammers do you need to crack a nut? 10 and 11 are totally superfluous!

evocamd and mgcamd are both in the magic file referred to (and url given for) above, m8. Jeez- this is hard work...
