major issues ftp nag 7

hello,just laptop xover cable and d-box,had internet disabled but after 3 or so mins the connection dropped and couldnt get it back,just switched internet back on so i can write down what i need to do once i get the flash reconnected,im off to try again

You need you network connection enabled to connect to your box

also check your dbox hasnt changed its ip after a reeboot,are you on mobile broadband or have home based modem?....m

hi,i have managed to ftp the nag 7 fix into the correct folder and have deleted nag 10 and 11 i rebooted the box but only fta channels available,how many nag files should be deleted from the keys folder ? there are quite a few nag 10 and 11 files that are disabled should they be deleted aswell,im getting a bit confused anyone who can help me out here please ? i need to get this sorted tonite if possible

,,,i realised i had the wrong update so i just downloaded the new roms file have ftp it into the keys folder rebooted the box but still no channels just error msg,,can anyone give me a little help please ?

check that the box is set to evocam if you only updated rom 7

i updated using a file called NEW ROMS it contained about 7 new files within,would i need still to check evocam ? if so how do i check evocam ? im a novice as you can probably tell

depemding on image you will find it blue button then emu
if this is new image ? did you add evocm to emu folder

my image is snapshot beta 6 fta
all i have done is ftp the nagarom 7 file into the keys folder,had no luck so took it out again and then found NEW ROMS file so tried that one instead still no change so took that back out and put the first one back in still the same only fta channels available,i havent changed anything else

hi this is a fta only image then when you put nag 7 in keys were there all other files,sounds like you need to start again find keys folder on here/or back up your services.xml,bouquets,keys folder etc....then reflash with new image...m

this image was given to me by metman about 3 months ago
recently it stopped working,i took a look on here and noticed everybody had same issues and that there was a nag 7 fix,naturally i assumed that was the problem with mine,anyway metman has pm me and is going to take a look at the image for me and update the keys etc,hopefully in time for liverpool

so you already have a key file in the box correct?


if so you just delete all the roms out off the var/scce folder except the rom 7's then ftp the new rom 7 into the folder

restart cam then you should be all set

just wanted to say a big thankyou to metman for taking time out yesterday to help this novice sort out his d-box
this forum is an excellent portal for invaluable information and theres a lot of good people out there willing to help others out,,as you have probably guessed im all up and running now with new image flashed
