Hi you don,t need any settings you need crossover cable and if you want to you can use nullmodem cable as well i never use it myself some people do make sure you have unplugged your box dont plug it in until you have done all this
            1**run ifa
            2**choose your image
            3**press start
4** now plug your box in if you are lucky it will say flashing on your box lcd if it dosen,t dont worry some times it needs few attempts keep plugging and unplugging till it connects

Very little configuration is needed mate as IFA takes care of most it it automatically.

Turn off all firewalls as a precaution mate.

Sometimes you need to set a static IP address on your LAN and IFA should do the rest.

Does IFA see your network card?

                  Well, that's your problem

Make sure Windows can see the adapter and that it is enabled.
