Nokia Dbox help - got an image but unsure

Hi all, in new to this stuff. i have had my dbox for over a year and its stopped working now. well most of all the channels have stopped working. (dbox 2 with 2 processors i think)

ive tried a few images using Dbox image flashing assistant and the only one which works is one called "ss-enigma.v4". ive tried that new commander 10c one but it doesnt work.

and for some reason i cant use those ftp progs either. ive tried 3 - cute ftp, filezilla and flash fxp......

and also is that all i need to do or do i need to add other files to it ??


any help will be much appreciated. thanks.

(p.s. can anyone recommend any good image or send me one??)

All the images work m8,i am currently useing command 10c and its brill, but you will need to be able to ftp to your box to put in the required files, have a read of this http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...x-noobs-15134/, should help you out.

Hiya m8.All images now dont have the keys and roms in them.They are just FTA you need to flash an image and add the keys bouquets and service files. What do you mean you can't use an ftp client. Do you mean you can't connect to the box or what ?
Make sure firewalls are disabled when ftp'ing.
You can use IFA to flash the box with a new image if your comfortable with that.Just make sure when you flash the image to ad keys bouquets and service files and you should be ok

hi bulldog, thanks for the previous advice. do you know where can i find the keys bouqets and service files to add to the dbox for commando 10c?

i can flash the box using dbox flash assistane then after that im stuck.....

do i need to add all those keys and emu files onto the dbox??

also i have got a bouqet file and service file for my area from another site - do they go with these folders or different ones??

you definitely need to add the keys, if you dont have emus then add these.
the keys go into var/keys on your box just overwrite previous one if there if not add this.

Bouquet & service files go in var/tuxbox/config/zapit
Had all the Keys into var/keys
Had just Evocamd Emu into var/bin/emu

thanks for the info.

i have downloaded the keys from that site. ive got about 16 files including 2 text files (see image below)


and the other files are the emu files (3 of them - see below)

DO I JUST ADD ALL THESE FILES INTO THE RELAVANT FOLDERS??

Read my post above put the keys all 16 in var/keys
Just put Evocamd in var/bin/emu
