Nokia Dbox help - got an image but unsure

hi i am still not getting the channels. i get the free to air channels i have placed the emu file in the emu only ( or do i have to place all 3 of them in there) then i load up the 16 other files in the keys section. i select the file for bristol and re do a channel scan. that works great and i get the full channel lists now when i go through the channels the clear one work and still the scrambled ones stay scrambled what have i missed and i supposed to launch or do anything do i run the emu file. please could any one point me where i am going wrong

did you also install the nagra roms, and CHMOD 755 the files you transfered ?

no where do i get those and where do i place them

The rar file is 'foldered', so even a muppet can tell what goes where. I think there's even 'hints' as to what files need chmod 755 - and which don't.

One thing I CAN guarantee- there are NO files in /var/keys folder that require chmod 755

The file(s) in /var/bin/emu does need 755 permissions applying, as it/they are 'executables' - so without 755, they cannot 'execute'. In layman's terms, they won't ~~~~ing work, LOL!

hi just to let you know i used the link to place the files as said this afternoon and all is working great i have the channels and thanks a lot

one minor point what is the file lib used for and do i need this to go somewhere in the dbox

the lib file , libcrypto.so.0.9.7; goes in the /lib/ folder but if u r watching all channels then it's already in ur img....metman

1) i updated my dbox after it died about 2 weeks ago.
2) i put the commando 11 imahe on and it was all up and running, until its died again....

i dont know whats going on and i need some help again.

* i have put the same image on again, changed the network settings, set my area for fast scanning, updated the keys and keys and trying to scan using bruteforce...

*still cant figure out what the hell is wrong.....

can someone help me out??

Be more specific. What exactly is the problem ?

it wont find any channels.....it finds 303 transponders, but no channels
