Dbox2 replaced tuner still no signal please help!!

Hi there i have got a dbox2 which lost all channels so i went and brought a tuner for the box my brother is good with theese boxes he fixes loads everyday but mine he can't seem to find out what it is thats wrong he soldered the tuner in and still no signal i have commando 10 image is there any thing eles i can do all my leads are fully in but have no joy my friend also has a dbox2 which had old keys on so i said i will take it on to put commamdo 10 image on i have done this and his is now the same as mine (needs new tuner) all channels are there just no signal in bar or whats on list please help i have spent ?73 on this new tuner thinking it was that maybe its not

no m8 no free to view channels either nothing its like i am not getting signal at all in both boxes my bro thinks its weird that both boxes are the same

got any box recieving a signal (subbed)...there's rumours that v*m are disconnecting all non payers??

defo sounds weird but they r known for 1 of the chips goin on the mainboard

Really but 2 have 2 go in the same week can i buy these chips anywere so i can eliminate my problems this is weird even my bro is stomped on this one push came to shove i might get 1 working between the two

Hi there yes my virgin box recieves freeview channels at the mo and can get some via analog through to my tv get some extra channels like sports 2

try connecting to that feed direct no splitters

Yea i have tried this too i feel as if i have to accect that both boxes have gone down the only thing it can be is the chips 1 in each just strange that both have gone in same week

try a different image on the box m8.also might be worth posting a bootlog for one of the more experienced members to have a look ,at if its the same with a different image

have tried different images laky pro also and same result was given

Dead box

I to also had my box go down & was told the tuner was knacked, had the tuner repleced but still no joy, I posted a boot log & one of the guys said there was a problem around the SEC CHIP. All above & beyond me, so I got another box & just use the knacked box to practice on. Not really any help but just thought I would let you know my saga.
