Dbox II - Freezes

Hi,
My Nokia Dbox x 2 freezes every so often.
I recall a post outlining a bin file paramater change which will resolve this - has anyone got the details?

Also what is the best and most stable feature rich image? - were can I get a copy?

Is it freezing on FTA channels
Try a ucode change mate
0014 or 001a or top ucodes
Lets know the outcome ....Paul

Thanks Paul,
N*L cable subscriber, freezes out of the blue and have to power down.
Mate had a similar problem and fixed with a config change to a bin file - plonker cannot remember fix or were he got it.
Hopefully some one will post fix.

Its ucode
Or Sig booster or reducer you need ...............Paul

Agree with plasterer try the ucodes dbox2's are a law unto them selves!! i found if you just try each one for a couple of hours it can help! also turn off http server off cos that can do the freezing as well! this is just the things ive found so just my 2 pence worth for you!

Hi i'm having the same problem with picture freezing - Nokia dbox2 running blade quad2x with nagrarom7 fix - have had no trouble for weeks tried changing cams and u codes with no difference - have all channels - VM north Liverpool - Cheers in advance

Try a different image on the box to see if this cures it. Is it plug directly into the feed or is it on a splitter?

I was getting the same problem.

I found a simple box reboot sorted it.

image change worked for me no freezing here i am on laky sylas,please dont forget this is fta image and you would need to back up files first...m

ucodes set correctly
Turned off incorrect and unused settings which seem to have sorted.

Ahhh... Nice info dude..

This may solve the chirping / freezing problem I have, as my signal is good and my images & cams are all set up fine. Will give this a shot when I get home.
