    dbox2 noob standard

    Hey Guys,

    The standard noob question of "No Channels Were Found! Please execute a scan (dbox-key -> sevice) is my problem... and I know you're all sick of hearing it but the problem is...

    When I go into TuxBox Commander in the menu. I then go to "var" to try and input a new code. The problem is there is no "Key menu" in the var so I have no way to update the code.

    Any ideas on this. My Dbox has been out of commission for about 1year now and I just got a HDTV and want it back up and running.

    Any help would be hugely appreciated.

    I also have Blade Quad installed cause I tried doing that 6 months ago to get it working.

      hi there peeps, my first post so excuse me if its in the wrong place..

      ive had a nokia Dbox2 for some time now and i was running the sportster 1.7 image and i thought to myself theres bound to be some better versions out there so i found a few, read up on em and installed them all sportster v2.0 2x intel chip. the flashing process was mint, everything went according to plan untill i encountered a problem with the service scan .... the default provider was "Kabel Dutschland" i tired EVERYTHING to try get rid of it .. FTP'ed the cables.xml into /var/tuxbox/config/zapit .. even in /var/tuxbox/config/ .. rebooted a few times , switched the box off from the mains for few mins but no luck.

      when i try doing a scan with the "Kabel Dutschland cable provider" and fast scan off it instantly says " transponderscan failed" (ive tried a few images and all give me the same problem .. half of its in german or dutch and i was looking for an english one like my old sportster)

      ive switched back to sportster v1.7 for the time being untill i get some expert advice on what may be the prob ... so if anyone can help me ill appreciate it alot ... thnx inadvace

          ou Need a UK modded version of sportster with updated cables XML
          Prob easir to update the one you have on now .....Paul

              go to the downloads and download a set of bouquets and services files for your area,

              FTP these to the var/tuxbox/config/zapit folder.

              You may also need the latest fix nagrarom7.bin file.
              Put this in the keys folder
