    Tuxbox Commander Help

Ok I was messing about in tuxbox to try and change the rights as I am having problems connecting to pc, anyway the background colour has changed from blue to black and will not allow me to change any settings. Any ideas on how to fix this?

If it's black then you are in the top most directory.

What are you wanting to change, you shouldn't need to adjust anything. If you can't connect, it will be something to do with your network settings and not something on the box.

I was trying to change the file permission as I have tried to connect to pc and it just won't work. I have tried loads of different passwords also tried on both xp and vista, tried different cables the lot and it just keeps telling me that the target machine is refusing connection.

It's nothing to do with the file permissions, trust me.

        It's your network settings.

What is your PC and dreambox IP address?
How are you connecting? via router or straight to PC?

I am using FlashFXP and have turned firewall off so thats not the problem. I have tried lots of different usernames and passwords but still no luck. Ready just to give up me thinks.

Sportster password is definetly dbox2. Have your tried yweb by typing the dbox ip into your web browser address bar, you can do a lot with yweb, like flash an image
