Please Help! Learning.

Hello, i just want to learn how all this work.

So far i have a nullmodem cable, jtag cable, virgin uk cable tv, computer, Linux ubuntu 8.10,vista and a dbox 2 that just arriving from Germany who the guy said its on debug mode and its basicly plug and play.

So i just want to learn how to insert new images, keys, plug the dbox 2 to the pc through a nullmodem cable, or ftp etc...

I do not know yet, how to start all this, whats the first step whats the second, third etc....

The reason i bought dbox 2, is that i had a receiver in my house that i bought for 250 pounds to see all channels, but now dessapeared all and i just lost the money. I just want to learn how to do it by my self and be proud of me. But i need a step by step tutorial basicly.

The guy said that the dbox 2 is set for uk and Irland and the menu is in english.

I'd like to THANK YOU to the administrator from this site and for all the members who helped a lot as well with tut,softwares etc...

Please i am very confused at the moment but i think i have all the tools in my hands and i just need to read a lot to get in there, but any tutorial available would help me a lot and i could avoid plenty of stuped questions like the one i asked.

as you have said m8 just read up on this site i am new to this and managed to get mine up and running by reading guides from download section then asking questions when i was stuck you can get the new roms that u will need from

and i found this a very easy to use progam to FTP it has a guide included good luck u will get there then wonder y u were ever confused

if you look in the cable forum under dbox2 tutorials are there any questions ask them in the right forum and welcome to dk
