image flashing assistant hangs?

    image flashing assistant hangs?

    When using image flashing assistant I connect the power supply as stated and the front of the box states its backing up and then it hangs? the pc says its flashing but nothing happens at the dbox end - no verification or smiley faces?

    Im using IFA through my router and its obviously connecting as the box says it is?

    Where am I going wrong?

    PS I bricked my box you see hence using IFA.

      Does the box led say flashing ? It takes about 10 mins for a Nokia. If it says flashing leave it for a while m8

          The pc says loading flash image and on the details it says:

          Got request from 0018F3A9B666

          The Dbox just shows the image as if its ready to install the image but nothing happens - I left it for 4 hrs and no joy - me thinks something would have happened if it ever was going to Hmmm!!!!

              try using a different version of ifa,ive noticed the latest version doesent do anything for a few minutes and then just goes,sometimes it takes longer.

                  well I have tried a few diferent downloaded versions which range from not working no matter how many times I run up and down the stairs and re-connect the power to versions that throw error messages up and tell me to %$?"^ off???

                  Cant even get anything on the dbox screen now. The Dbox hasn't worked in a year anyhow and now ive bricked it it wont even boot up so might as well stick it in the bin.

                  If anybody has any idea's Id appreciate it if not its scrap, aint got the time or the patience to deal with it at the moment.
