a ethernet cable or a cross over cable is the same cable isnt it , i checked on google its same one

i dont think you can flash with a ethernet cable or unless you have router, but a crossover cable you can go straight from your pc through the network card, there are different -
definitely different mate, one is straight wired the other is crosswired.
