    Connectivity issues

    Hey guys...

    Been trying to get my key lists updated.

    I managed to update my image to the latest commando but I cannot put in any keys now and none of my channels are active. It's just telling me to re scan.

    The problem that I'm finding is with connecting the dbox to my PC.

    I've managed to update the image with a dbox flashing assistant and I had absolutely no connectivity problems.
    The problems I'm having now is I cannot pull up the details of my dbox2 on my PC with filezilla or a few other flashing programs that I have used. I'm using an ethernet cable to connect the 2 and have done all the IP address things that other sites have told me. Eg put 1 digit fewer than appears on the dbox.

    This is killing me...

    All I want to do is put in a new bouquet and service file so I can start updating the keys...

    AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!

      I had a nightmare trying to ftp to the commando image.

      Username : root
      Password : commando

      I gave up in the end and went with Laky-Stylas.

          yeah did that already...

          Tried every possible combination... root - dbox, root - dbox2, root - commando... no joy.

          What's laky-stylas? Will that already have bouquets and services in it for Ireland.

          Basically all I need is the ability to put in key codes

                      My main problem is not the image it's getting the extra info into the image already on the box...

                      I tried using flash fxp... turned off all firewall settings on my computer... input the IP on the dbox minus 1 the last digit for the PC...

                      Having a nightmare on this one. I doesn't make sense that I can flash the image with the flashing assistant. I had to switch the box off and it auto started uploading the image to the box.

                      With the bouquets and services I'm just getting nowhere with viewing any off the details of the dbox on the flashing assistants...

                      Nightmare.

                          M8 the pc is not always one digit either side. Check your ip addy on the box then check it on the pc. Change the box to one above the pc.That way you know your trying to connect to the right ip addy

                              Cheers for that mate... not sure if I'll get a chance to do it tonight but I'll let you know when I do try if it works or not.

                              It is gonna be flippin amazing if it did.
