Ok, i have been reading the forum for months now, and patiently waiting for Barnsley services to be added. Recently someone posted a outside leeds file, having looked at the file, Sky1 is there ( the only channel im missing, would i be able to copy and paste the line onto my services, or do i need to copy the whole file?

Also there are alot of front row channels there too. Do these channels work?

Any guidence will be greatly appreciated.

Front row doesn't work. Why not just do a scan yourself, this will give you the service files you need. You can edit your xml bouquet and add a line.

I have re-scanned, i have also reflashed a new image and the re-scanned to no avail. The only image that seems reliable for the channels is sportster.
, i am in need of Sly 1 for the Ross Kemp new series which starts on 1st Feb.

Can i rob the sky1 channel from the services? or does anyone have any other suggestions.. please.

hi metman, yes im still having trouble, with the sly 1 channel.

Having compared the services files, some are the same, but i have more channels on my services, thats why i wondered if i could doctor mine by inserting the command line.

all this for bloody Ross Kemp and Lost....

Could this mean that it is hidden on this channel?

if virgin central 2 isn't already showing sky one then all this will do is change the channel name to sky one on ur box but show virgin central 2.....assuming the transponder frequency is also the same

metman, i have reflashed using laksys, and am doing a scan at the moment, cos all i got is black screens, will let u know asap

Check your PM box M8.
once you finished flashing the image and what have you do the following step by step.

1) Click on the blue button
2) Click on set my location
3)Click on first line (Select my Town: A-C)
4)Click on Barnsley TW (number 3)
--------
5) Click on DBox Button and click on Service scan.

Once finished scanning Restart your Dbox then go to
(S*y sport 1) for a minute with a bit of luck you are up and
running.

FTP this Bouquets to rearange your channels in a good order.

Now go and look for your Ross Kemp he is waiting for you

Salami thanx for the guide, and all your help, i have done everything you stated, but Ross still isnt available , i reflashed with your image, i done the codes, i done the location, i rescanned creating new bouqets ( this is where i think i went wrong? ) and then downloading the file to rearrange, maybe i should have left it as existing! but scottish channels were listed. if i need to reflash and start again, then i will do so, but i have backed this one up now, so alls good.

If you have FTP'd the bouquets to your dbox go to entertainment channel and have a look there if you can't find the sky 1, 2 and 3 then go to (Other) section and check they may still there.

Do you get all other channels such sultana and sports?

salami, i already get sky 2 + 3, just not 1, and now sky sports 3 only as a black screen, i have done a rescan just to see if it was slightly offline, but still nothing.

I have now got sports 3 back on, i read the forums and it mentioned changing the drivers, and bingo, its just Ross im still short of now...
