Dbox Down

My Nokia Dbox is down,
and i see in Keymaster that the keys haven't been updated since 23/12/08 is this correct?

I have put the keys from that date in but it still don't work,and when i go to tux box commander and then press 4 to edit,it still has the old keys in it??? i have saved it the usual way by pressing back then save changes so god knows why it aint doing it?

any help fellas?

well i have a dreambox and re-scanned it and it was fine after that

i relied on the keys as well,i used to just pop in the new ones as im shite with computers,would prob blow it up flashing it and all that!

unless u got the latest patched rom, rescanning aint going to do a thing....

2 choices - find the latest kys and manually update:

or do the sensible thing

update ur img with the latest rom and let it au

Have you got a link to the latest rom mate and simple instructions? ill maybe let my brother try it for me, but untill then i guess i will have to put up with 2 screaming kids wanting there cartoons!!!

The dbox is not a HD box so you will not get HD quality. However you should be getting an excellent picture either way. Have you checked your scarts m8. Swap them around scart1 then 2 and same on box untill you get a good picture. I had the same problem with mine but its all ok now

I find it very hard to believe that 2 months to the day have elapsed since cydine released his rom fixes, and there are still people out there who are manually updating keys...

Why not take a night off from your free telly, have a good read through this forum, and get your boxes set up properly?

It's sooooo much easier than manual entry!!!

gimme a link to the latest image and the keys i need and save me a nyt of searching
