oops d box not responding!?

Ok so I tried setting up my dbox to record, but now the screen show a picture, but its not responding at all....any ideas??

have you switched it off at the mains ? and tried it again ?

yes mate, first thing i tried, its like the dbox isnt booting up, the picture i thought was coming from the dbox is actually from the tv inout, so am not getting anything from the dbox, is it possible ive lost the nuetrino image?

ive tried reflashgin with IFA, but no joy, do i need a null modem cable or will the cross over do it? also is there a newer version of IFA ??

you can do it with just a crossover cable but you dont know how far the progress is as thats what the null modem does... see if you can finf IFA 2.0 that used to display on the LCD how far the preogress was so no null modem cable was needed

Thanks, ill look for ifa2.0 now, but one more question, do i need to know the IP address od the dbox to flash as the box is totally unresponsive?
