I now have the box up and working, i still have a search for knowledge tho! It was a case off the keys and the cam was not installed correctly!. So to any newbies out there good luck and keep working at it!

Thanks Man!!! Just a quick question, should i be able to get all the channels, even the adult ones, even the ones that need codes? Also i have read bits about 7 day eps? Can you inform me how?

You will get most off the ~~~~ channels the only ones you will not get are the ones that you need to press the colour buttons to activate, Anyway you get a lot of ~~~~ anyway.

To activate your 7 day epg you have to press the blue button then on commando system menu then on set my area for 7 day epg then press on your provider then it will ask you to reboot press yes.
To get your epg active after your box as rebooted put on standby for 5mins then turn your box back on now you have 7 day epg.
Every time you put on standby it will update.

Well all seams well, however the box freezes and the sound breaks up which is very frustrating when you are half way through a programme, I can cure this but moveing form one channel to another, or resettingt he cam, or haveing to re boot, depends, some times it works 1st time! Is there any thing i can do to solve this? Is there an easy fix?

Try a ucode change from 001a to0014 or vice versa
Maybe a booster would help

if the above dont work from plasterer,...give this a try it fixed a few chirping/freezing/stuttering sagems for me.
ftp into the box,...tuxbox,..ucodes,delete ucode.bin, transfer ucode 001a to your pc,..rename it ucode.bin. then upload,..change chmod to 755 then reboot.
