Sagem Dbox2 x2 box and it should be with me tomorrow So I maybe looking for a bit of help if I get stuck LOL. The funny part about it is I dont have cable so for now if I get stuck it will be on the setup off the box

So got my Dbox 2 in the post today and I think its a good one. I have taken some photos for you guys to look at and maybe you can confirm it.








All so on a side note I the image on it

It looks ok you have 2 flash chips so if you change your image then it needs to be a 2x.
But the image you have on is ok for uk cable.
Are you getting all channels?

Hi m8 no Im told it will only get FTA right now but I dont have cable right now but looking to sign up next couple of weeks or so but for now I would like to try to add stuff to the box so it can pick up all stuff

You need a xover cable to put things onto your box. So when you get your cable post here and we will sort you out.

PS; If you have a spare ethernet cable you can convert that into a xover cable by cutting back the sleeve then cut the orange and green wires then connect one end off the green wire to the opposite orange wire do the same with the other 2 wires that's if you cannot wait for your wire to come

When you get your wire just make a post and someone will sort you out you will be up and running in no time.

Hi a update for you guys.

I have used a Ethernet Cable from my router to the Dbox2. I set the Dbox2 to DCHP on then used Flashfxp
to log in to the dbox 2.

Next step was I download some new files
Magic Files 12.4.08 AU.zip
ROM7 29_11_2008.rar

So I then added the magic files to /var/keys on my DBOX2. I then deleted rom 11 & 10 so after I did that I then put the replaced the ROM7 file with the new one.

After that I added evocamd and mgcamd and set them both to chmod 755. I then rebooted the box and all was ok. So I went to my in-laws house to try to do a scan.

So when I got there I set the box up I did a slow scan and after around 20 min I hade around 300 + channels.

So I saved it after the scan and whent on to the tv side of it. And at first I did not have anything at all just the channel name and a blank screen the up pops bbc 1 so I then move up the cannelstill I find Sly morts 1 and its blank so I keep it on the channel for at lest 10 min and still nothing. So I dont know what I have done wrong so can anyone give me some input on what is not right ?

As I know it must be somthing I have not done right

What ucode and cam are you using m8. Try different combo.
Ucode 001A and Evocam work best for me.
