dbox2 connection refused

awrite guys i have a nokia dbo2 im trying to put new cams on but i cant conecct to it
it has commando 10 on all i get is connection refused
never had a problem with the last 1 been at it for hours

Make sure password is "commando"

Have you turned off all firewalls?
Have you set your network settings on your pc
Eg
pc:192.168.0.23
Dbox: 192.168.0.24
User name: root
Password: commando

As gizmo says set username and password as described. make sure firewalls are turned off and ip addresses are set correctly.
The problem with commando images is usuallt people putting in root or dbox2 as password as opposed to COMMANDO. If the problem persists and you want a quick fix, then flash a new image using IFA. Well that's what i would do m8

Have you checked your network settings as if not set right then it will not connect.
If thy are ok then reboot your box then try again make sure your xover cable is plugged in as sometimes the box does not see the cable if you plug it in when on.

try flahing lincsat 7.25 fullish from d/loads section mate with ifa then jst get service and bouquets for your area upload them onto box and every thing should work fine, all channels and every thing . i have nokia 2x and this is what i have just done and its working fine

Takes about 15 mins maybe longer for the server to update.

Vista Help

Hi all - ihave downloaded commando 11 from the download area and am trying tp flash ot using a crossover cable (don't have a null modem connection on laptop) and FLA.

I have got so far with it to the extent that the dbox will not boot anymore - and I dont see the "flashing" word when i try to flash it with the new image.......does anyone have any ideas.

Is this a Vista problem or dbox problem - in the network part of Vista i see "unidentified network" is this the problem???

Any help greatly appreciated.....
