    Commando v10 EPG issues

    Hi guys Flippy here!

    Have been using Commando v10 for about 2 weeks and have to say its looking sweet! I get all the channels but the only problem seems to be the EPG. Most of the time it doesn't work and when it does work I only get EPG on the current and next programs. Basically I can't see the 7-day guide.

    Can anyone help?

    Note - I have a Sagem x1 Dbox2

      I think there was a problem epg in the first release but as now been sorted so you might be best to d/load the latest release you can find it in the link above.
      If you do change the image DO NOT forget to back up your image as you will need some off the files to get it to work.

          As above mate download Commando 10 c
          Push Bluebutton and select 7 day EPG
          Put your box into standby
          And in 10 mins you will have 7 day EPG for most channels
          You may need to edit the EPG filter
          To acsess your local Channels ...............Paul

              Paul's almost right, LOL! In 10c- you now Select my Area for 7 Day EPG in the Blue > Commando System menu. Choose which area you're in (pure, TW, exC+W) and the setup is instant - not even a reboot needed!

              How cool is that? Then, as Paul says, leave it in Standby for 5 or so minutes, and you should have 7 Day EPG for the 100(ish) premium channels- with the shite channels limited to Now 'n Next only.

              In Standby Mode, the box is automatically switched to the PVR_EPG channel, which obviously has to exist in your services.xml file, or it won't work! We understand this might be an issue for ROI users...

              When you enter Standby, the current viewed channel is 'remembered' and it switches back to this channel when you wake the box up.

                      Btw can I use Commando 10c x2 on my Sagem x1 box???

                      I didn't think that was possible??? I can't find Commando 10c x1 in the downloads section.

                          Yes- so long as you use Image Converter to make the 2x image into a Flash no Bootloader 1x image for your box first. (Commando 10 is JFFS2 format, which makes this viable)

                          Otherwise, if you flash a 1x box with a 2x image (or vice-versa)- you'll get Kein System in the LCD and it'll be time to reach for the Kleenex, dry your tears, and learn all about IFA, LOL!
