Im totally new to all this! I have a sagem dbox, it has Linux Neutrino (whatever that is!) and the 'Sportster' image which i think is from 2002. It used to work fine, but now i've lost all my channels apart from bbc1 bbc2 itv ch4 and news24. I've tried channel scanning, but that never worked, and i've now been pointed in the direction of changing the image? So my question is, what is the best image to flash to, and where can i get it from? Thanks...

Thanks for the info guys... I've now flashed the image, using 'blade quad image', and set my location, carried out channel scan, restarted the box etc, and still got no channels apart from free-view channels..?
I read up on the forum about checking for 'keys' and mine has no keys in the folder??? Got the codes off BigMAQ and manually entered them, but still nothing... I also read up about ftp-ing a file to the 'var/keys' folder to auto-update... Does any1 think this will help and if so would any1 be willing to tell me where to find this file and how to do it?
One last thing, there was no mention of saving 'services and boks' on the you-tube video i watched, so i havent done that... Is that a major problem???
The box worked fine and i had all channels up until a few months ago, since then its been left unplugged, but now i really want to get it working again!

You need a full set of working keys in var/keys
This will need the new rom 7 fix in
Service file is created upon scanning
Bow k can be added later or done on remote

im trying to copy the keys file, but it wont let me... im using cuteftp and i downloaded the keys file from a link in the forum... everytime i try, i get the message: ''Request denied. Please verify that the file or folder exists and that you have the necessary permissions on the server to perform the requested operation''... Any ideas on why this could be?Comment

Roms are allocated to areas
Most key rolls on the d box are 7
But in some area s they roll 10.11

i discovered that the reason i couldnt ftp the files was because the password was incorrect, so i've re-flashed, now using 'commander 10 2x' image... i've uploaded the keys folder as instructed, and am now sitting here watching the channel scan screen! (currently at 173 of 303 transponders!) Lol! It says on the 'commander 10 2x' download that there are no 'cams' in the download... does that mean i wont be able to set the emu settings to 'evocamd'..? if so, is there any other images that you would recommend..? really am appreciating all this info guys! thanks!Comment

im new to this site and a newbie to boot, im ready and willing to do the homework about the dbox, flashin, flashfxp and all the rest, but ive been told that there are no new codes for it 2 be fixed and there may not be any available in the near future, so what im askin is it worth me studyin this or just puttin the box in the loft?
the box is a dbox multimedia terminal dvb by nokia.
