cute ftp advice please

hi folks
i have been reading all the tutorials & youtube videos on how to transfer files over to my dbox2.
i have commando_10x1 working very well on fta only..
the advice is conflicting some say remove the nagra7 some say keep them, 10's 11's emu's some have, some dont? . change to 755.

bouquets go where?
sorry if its in front of me but i just dont see it

where do i start
any precise info as to where what goes exactly would be very greatfull

Most of the time, the info at the time of print is correct. Now, it may not be correct.

Download the files from here.

Delete everything that's in your /var/keys folder.
Copy the files that you downloaded to /var/keys.
No files in /var/keys should be chmod 755, they should all be chmod 644.

Services.xml and bouquets.xml are stored in /var/tuxbox/config/zapit. When you do a scan, the services.xml file is generated automatically.

Go to Dbox > Service Menu > Bouquet Editor and this will allow you to arrange your bouquets.

Yes...any dbox2 image.

You will still need a Cam in your Commando image
And this will need to be 755

strange one this
iam using blade quad converted from x2>x1
when i connect with cute ftp, when i right click on var/scce folder i get this massage:
Request denied.
Please verify that the file or folder exists and that you have the necessary permissions on the server to perform the requested operation.

iam connected when this comes up ?

still in this ftp thing

in the var/ i dont have a keys folder ?
my options are
/bin with sub folders of .clock. getinput. getrc. hops. mmops. msgbox. ops. sclock. shellexec...
/etc is empty..
/lock. is empty
plugins: has lcd_epg.sh . sclock . setmylocationops. setmylocations...
/run. ifstate . lcdlocked . pmt.tmp
/scce no accsess to this
/share/tuxbox/neutrino/themes this is where the image is...
/tmp. ifstate . lcd.locked . pmt.tmp .
/tuxbox has a few subfolders within it... boot config plugins scce (no entry) ucodes with avia500 avia600 and 7 different ucode_...bin



where do i put what in here, if no keys folders ?

i know its in front of me
but i just dont see the tree's for the forrest
