How to flash DBOX

Im looking to find out how to flash to a DBox. Its an old box so Im looking to know what software to use to flash and what would be a good image to use.

try this

there is a software called ifa that will transfer your image to your box you will find it in the downloads section and a good image is commando 10d but you will need a program called fxp to transfer k*ys and r*ms to get all the v****n channels, but have read up its all here, check to see if your box is 1 or 2 chip

I had no luck with that..My Dbox has Commando image 9.25. Do i need to upgrade and also how do I find out if its one chip or two.
Do I need to put on a different image?

what box is it nokia or sagem,if its nokia it be a 2x a sagem either 1x or 2x

When you set your location isnt there an irish option ?

No unfortunately the only option is Dublin NTL but I need DUblin Chorus.

do u use true cable or r u using mmds if so: -

if using mmds u need a terrestrial tuner not a cable tuner - dbox will not work....

Corus MMDS - dvb-t boxes.
NTL MMDS - dvb-c eg dbox

if u r true cable then heres a cable file with a bruteforce scanning for chorus sym rate 6875

your not using mmds then??

depends on ur img....best to back up first

if similar to sportster then

the cables.xml go /var/tuxbox/config. Over write the old one.(the location depend on ur img, if u can't see it there it may be in /share/tuxbox/

Reboot your box, go to the scan menu and see if u can choose chorus...

also delete the scan.conf in /var/tuxbox/config and power down the box at the mains wait a while then switch back on.
