how do you create codes? pls help

I've got the hang of going into my Dbox2 tuxbox thingy and entering the latest codes as supplied by bigmaq but today when I went in to do it again keylist was completely empty. I was able to 'insert new line' but it hasn't worked. What format do the 01 and 00 codes have to be in?

rom 7 fix is probaby beyond my capabilities... it's not such a big deal to update once a month or so.
What I mean is I've put the codes in exactly like this:-

        00 A1B343 etc
        01 CE4AD6 etc

and I don't think this is what they looked like before they disappeared.

It's intimidating to start with but it's not too hard. Just do some reading, get yourself a crossover cable and back up your image before you start. You'll be glad you did.

Would somebody please go into their keylist file and just type out how the codes look? especially the bit at the beginning of each key with the 00 and 01 in it. Ta.

I'm Virgin but the codes which work for me on Bigmaq are listed as "ex cable & wireless". Many thanks in anticipation.

sure u got the emu "evocamd" active as the kys, all be it, the wrong ones should still write to the kylist.txt file...

try reselecting evocamd, reboot and leave on sly sports for a few mins....

                  im ex n*tl

                    The codes should start:

                    N 5C01 00 1234567890ABCDEF
                    N 5C01 01 1234567890ABCDEF

                    5C01 means it's an ex-c&w area.
                    5A01 means it's an ex-tw area.
                    5401 means it's an ex-ntl area.

wahay!... putting N 5C01 in front of my codes worked. Thanks to both of you for getting me out of a pickle.
