dbox stuck on first screen

    ive got an adapter coming from flea bay , ill leave it till then
    ( if i dont , may end up throwing it out a window) hopefully get som joy with crossover , ill let you know how it goes , and thanks for all the advice.

      I have exactly the same problem. Been ongoing for a couple of months.

      After dozens of posts I eventually narrowed it down to possibly a dodgy avia chip. Still live in hope that someone can diagnose it as something different with a potential fix.

      Best of luck and I will keep a keen eye on this thread.

        dont think this ones the chip del-rfc , i tihink someone has been playing around with it , as when it trys to load you see loading boot 1.1 , then it trys to load boot 1 , then jams loading kernel.

          what cable now u using with ifa.....got a router

            just a straight network cable at the mo , metman , have an adapter coming that changes it to a crossover , strange thing is i have no probs with this cable using it to flash images to the box , using ftp in directoy opus 9, and i remember way back when i was a newbie to dbox , i flashed a 1 chip image instead of 2 chip , and ended up with kien system , and used this cable with bootmanager and recovered the dbox.?. home network is setup on a wireless router

              if u using a cable thru router then u use a straight...
