Which Dbox2 image to use for recording to a Ubuntu PC

Hi I am using Andromeda 2.0 by Xenafan. I am trying to set up recording to my ubuntu machine or to my shared maxtor external drive (MSSII).

Any suggestions guys.

that image or commando should work fine with the correct 'direct recording (file)' settings.
use a CIFS mount to record to a shared folder on the ubuntu pc (may work with the maxtor too).

or try the linux/java versions of XmediaGrabber
