Image working, but channels not appearing

hi guys!

after all your help, i managed to somehow get my working image from another new box, which btw, recieves everything, and transferredi t over ot my other second hand box.

Now, if i may, id like to explain my connections so you know it all. i have the signal coming in from outside, no attentuators or anything attached, directly into a 8WAY TWO WAY BOOSTER, from which one goes into the NEW BOX, and another connection to SECOND HAND BOX downstairs.

Now the SECOND HAND box is not receinvg some pictures, its like lagging and jerking. some channels work perfectly fine. copied over thei mage exactly too; so icant see why its not working; i have no kinks in wiring and solid conections too.

i know that the antenna por at the back si slighly damaged, in the sense that it is loose when the f-connector is plugged in, but icant see that not producing a picture, especially when some channels report more than HALF BAR SIGNAL STRENGTH?

ooooh! can i ue the other bloomen port too; i thought that was only a loop for the vcr say! damnit im try that now! ok will pinch it so its much tighter, see what results, will update!

Just thought id give you guys some figures, possibly may help.

NEW BOX reprots:

BER: 5250
SNR: 59881
SIG: 39835

just to repeat, signal comes in from outside into booster, then from booster into boxes, new and second hand ones

sounds like ur problem box got a weak tuner...is it a sagem 1x or 2x

ps there r no 'new' dboxes

orry, its just a term im using wrongly to describe the two boxes in my house, one of them in new and the other is second hand. sorry about that.

Its a nokia dbox2 2x i believe

problem has deterioated now. ive lost signal to a lot of channels, discovery, sky movies action and e4 arent working?

i dont know whats wrong, i havent fiddled with the wiring, have the keys been changed, its set ot autoupdate on mine at the mo?!

kys haven't rolled sounds like ur tuners deteriorating....other box ok?

oth boxes gone now buddy! I did the "force key update" but didnt really result in anything? then restarted the evocamd, to no avail either; rather baffled, maybe a new set of encrytpion?

any ideas of what ishould investigate next

connect the good box direct to incoming cable. no splitters etc and see what u get

i did as you advised; still no images on some channels, did a rescan to, didnt help!

If i was you m8 i'd start all over again. Flash a new image and ftp working files over.Try one box for start and take all splitters etc out to start with.

im trying to ftp across some emus, but the ftp program keeps saying that they exist, eventhough i have already deleted them before the transfer. i have tried to rename them before transfer, and it says they already exist.

when i click overwrite; the new emu does not show up on the sportster screen, so i have no idea whether it has tranferred?

what am i doing wrong

so ive now flashed on COMMANDO 10d onto the box, having transferred over the evocam and evocamalt; changed the attritubutes to 755.

also copied over to the keys, nagrom files and what not.

but not getting sports or movies, bbc news is working alongside bbc1 and 2.

ive checked key txt file against the latest keys found on the web, and it is up to date.

dont know what theres left to do now

any other ideas? i saw a thread where a new set of keys was available; it instructed for all files in keys folder to replaced with the downloaded ones, am ging to try that and see what happens
