Image working, but channels not appearing

i'm having same problem seem to be missing movie channels have flashed every image avail and added bouquets from my area and still dont get half the movies..oh and i cant scan nething it clears all channels when i scan and finds nothing apart from a few times it found 15 channels, does ne1 think it could be my area as have another dbox and starview but all seem to be missing movies since last week

im now running the commando 10d 2x image on the newest of my dbox2 boxes; solid tuner and reliable so far! previous to this it was running sportser and was able to see sly psurts 1 and movies

having copiedo ver the evocamd (2.17 233kb) and all var/key files too; i can only get fta channels; the scan prduces sly spurts and what not, but even with evocamd reset, i am getting no pic!!!

im baffled as into what to do now; ive nearly trued everything under the sun? help please guys! im confused now

When you ftp cams did you chmod 755 them ? Right click the cams when you ftp them and change attributes to 755

i did i did i did! though i never understood why; but yes i did do that immediately after transfer to the box

i then restarted the box, and restasrted the evo too

thank you for the link! ive read that so far the spts setting should be off! i will go and check this, rescan and report back!

so checked whether the spts was off, and in fact it was! was hoping it would be on to solve my problem, nonetheless, i switched it on, restarted my dbox, then switched it back off. then restarted the cam and left on sly spurts 1 in hope of a remedy!

none so far yet!

also, ive got both 232kb evocam and 151kb evocam and mgcamd, thanks to a certain user! much appreciated!

but how do i transfer them over? when i ftp them over, the dbox does not recgnise them, eventhough i change the attributes.

do you suggesti delete the existing 232kb (2.17) cam, then rename the 150kb cam to evocam and then transfer?

Maybe you entered the older keys/roms which dont update.

also did you ftp a services.xml file and a cables.xml file over

got the keys and autoupdate files from a sportster image that was working beforehand, but started detoriating as well soon after!

had the sportster 1.7, which shows uo with sly spurts 1 and what not, but this commando doesnt show with anything apart from fta only!

delete the 232kb evocamd and tranfer the 151kb evocamd and mgcamd to the emu folder, change attributes, set img to evo and restart - no need to rename anything. try the mgcamd that should work also

push blue button for your menu to softcam reset too, mine went off for some strange reason when i put a 'nvod' channel on...

update:

ITS WORKING. got an image from a fellow member, whom had a working commando 10d. tbh, i couldnt see much diff bewtween mine apart from two cams rather than just the one: evocam and mgcam.

but well tbh it did wonders, as soon as i installed it, and scanned the channels, they immediately started working! sly spurts 1 and all sorts are working, i get sly mobies too!!

but can i ask one more q please!

i have KONIG 30DB AMPLIFIER, how should i adjust the slope and gain, becasue when the gain is max, i dont get a lot of channels, so is it purely trial and error, should the slope be higher than gain?
