    do ya recon its signal?

    Hi there!
I installed a dbox2 into a friends house that worked perfectly in my house (was with blade quad and new keys)
He informed me that its sticks almost every day.

I gave him a replaced his box with again one ov mine which i have laky stylas (again running sweet as at my home) and ensured that he reset his location and scan (even though we are in the same area) and now he only has a few channels visible (the scan found them but no picture) THOUGH on return ov the box i have a perfect crisp signal and no sticking.

NOW before i have too go up there AGAIN do you think its prudent to take a signal booster with me or tell him too be thankfull he has channels with the sticky box than none at all!

    TAR MUCHLY

If both of you live in the same area you didn?t have to reset the location.
I would suggest that flash the second box with the same working image and hope that it works.
    I can?t see why not.
    good luck

      check cables and airflow

I had similar problem in the early days using a dbox my first issue was a cheap plastic splitter which leaked loads of signal and acted as an atenuator.

bought mettal splitter and better plugs.

second issue was putting the dbox under dvd player/pvr Made the dbox overheat after a couple of hours.

swapped box's over so dbox was on top of dvd and all works well.

Might be worth a go. its just a bit weird that takin one box direct too another house a few streets away makes the dbox act completly different!?
