purple screen dbox

hi my box has gone all purple back screen , its clear on teh menu settings its just teh background thats all purple, also when i goto any channel it is purple blue and green and has no definition to the picture, even though the sound is fine , thought from what i ahev read that it may be the settings for rgb scart etc etc , but since i have flashed a new image to it today and it hasnt cleared up , i doubt if its that , i did take a picture of it but cant find the damn camera lead to upload the picture , but am still looking

have you checked the scart lead, or tryied a different one ?

yes have tried various inputs to it , and 2 scart leads, u think that the scart lead socket cud be damaged, still trying to find the camera lead

can you try the red/yellow/white video lead instead of scart ?

tried that dont get any picture at all just sound intermittently
