Using a VGA monitor with a Sagem dbox

Hey folks, wondering if its possible to view a dbox through a monitor. I know there are problems with the h-sync and v-sync going from scart to vga, just wondering if there is any way around this without having to build a board with a TLL chip on it to raise the v and h-sync.

The feed from the dbox isnt going into a pc or laptop. Its going straight into a home-made projector cobbled together from an overhead projector and the lcd panel from a 15 inch monitor. The projector works flawlessly when hooked up to the xbox 360 or a laptop using a vga cable. Just wondering if its possible to connect the dbox straight to the vga connector of the lcd panel. Basically i ripped the monitor apart and installed all the boards inside the overhead projector so its really just a monitor outside its casing. Thanks for the info though metman.
