    nokia dbox is dead ?

    hi peeps

i got this nokia dbox2 today and pluged it in and nothing...?

yip got it hooked up to everything ok,
    the symtoms are
    no lcd working,
wont show anything on screen when booting up , if it does ?..
the only sign of life is the remote sensor on the box lights green when playing with remote,
so i must have power somewhere.

i thought i would give the IFA a go and nothing.
then tried to connect with FTP with a few diff IP addys but still no joy
    have i been sold a boiler ?

this is my first nokia , i thought i would upgrade ? from sagem

any help would be much appreciated

try opening the front panel, holding the on/off switch and the up arrow at the same time. Hold em for 5 secs.

If the LCD isnt working have you tried leaving IFA for long enough to make sure its flashed properly.
Setup IFA and test it out on your old sagem box so you know its def working...
Then try it with your nokia, leave it for a good 5-10 mins so you know its finished, then reboot and see if its made any dif

i have a null cable connected too so if it was picking it up would it not show on the tv screen ? the big hallenberg thing

also the IFA dont register the box, normally when i connect this way i can see the box being picked up by IFA , then the green bar kicks in after a few sec's

          but i have nothing

what i do get in the technical details from the IFA are

wdbug: DDF: calibrating delay loop... debug: DDF: 67.79 bogoMIPS

dbug: warning: unsupported FP id oxo

debug: write to 0x22/0x05 failed rc-5
