    Can a dbox SAT allow UK based satelite viewing?

    I saw someone selling a Dbox 1 SAT and he told me that i will be able to watch same channels as the dbox2 on cable. Is this true before i part with my ???

    He is saying the box has 'DVB 2000 PREPARED FOR UK satelite'

    it CAN, but then you're going down the route of cardsharing and you'll get no help on here with that mate. If seller tells you you can watch uk sky without valid subscription or cardsharing, he's yanking your chain pal.

      hope i caught you before you buy .

      leave it where it is buddy look at a dreambox 500s or a dbox 2

      a dbox1 is nothing but hassle and it will still require a card and a conditnal access module. whould of thought ccam cant run on it either.
