cheapest way to get onto the cablebox market?

ive had a dbox2 which i have successfully flashed and updated to recieve all chanells but due to a bad relationship which is now over my ex has my dbox and is being very awkward returning it to me. So was wondering wat is the cheapest way onto cable tv heaven am willing to try different boxes etc all help and info appreciated?

I would think long and hard before you decide to buy a new box - if your ex is arsey enough to hold onto your old one, and she finds out you have a new one she might be very inclined to report you
