Nokia Dbox 2 Audio Level Increase

I have the Andromeda x2 Image on my Nokia dbox2. I have got a virtual surround sound setup from my dbox but when i look at the equaliser on the amp the sound levels are low. I dont see the graphics bouncing up and down on the screen and i need to turn the sound on the amp quite high.

I have set my Audio to the MAX setting, i have played with the Audio settings in the Menu and yet i still dont get the correct sound output for my surround sound. Dont get me wrong the sound is there but, I because i need to raise the sound on the amp i get background noise when there is no sound on the film/channel. This is due to the source of the audio not being loud enough, i.e. Dbox2.

I have noticed some channels broadcast at a louder volume than others but I was wondering is there a way to mod or increase the sound of the image or an image that will resolve this.

    Thanks.

Unfortunately the sound is lower from these boxes, and its hardware related not software so its the same with all images, as for the different volumes on different channels you can thank virmin for that.

Oh right, well i guess i'll live with it then. I know its the dbox as the DVD player and PC runs perfectly well through my setup. I was just hoping that a certain image would have high level audio or something. Thanks for the reply Derek.

To everyone else, thanks for the comments.
