hi guys this my sound like a stupid question but i have a dbox thats not working. i was going to download a new image but noticed that it doesnt come with anything ie softcam and that. so where would i be able to get them from. i know where to get the keys but thats it.

You can get these things from images that do have them.
You don't need to flash the images to your box, you can use a program called NewTuxFlash to 'open' the image on your PC and 'extract' files from it; you can only extract files, you can't add.
Some images are not designed to have emu in them, if you're new to image modding, you're better of using an image that has emu already included. -
its not one thing ive tried yet but if i know wot im looking to do then ill be able to do it. most images dont come with anything anyway or do they.?Comment

Most images come with emu, some don't, use one that does.
Then you need to add the files to /var/keys. That's it.
Flash the NJWorld image, 1x or 2x, whatever you box is.
Download the files from here...
...and put them in /var/keys.Code:http://rapidshare.com/files/180139447/dbox2_files.rar
Set your location via the blue button menu, reboot, do a scan.Comment

is that all there is to it? and you can do that with any image? so if i want i can reflash with blade quad. add the 'dbox2_files', scan. And it all should be up and running? FTA and premium?Comment

i cant seem to find where i have to set my location before scanning.. after pressing the blue button i dont have any options asking me to set the location.. any ideas?Comment
