Flashed this image tonight - got to say it's a triumph! Like many I stayed away from Enigma purely cos Neutrino is (was?) the norm I suppose. Wish I tried an Enigma image sooner!

One small issue I have is that the LCD information in Neutrino doesn't change between programs. I have to either press the info button or switch channels and back again for the LCD to display the correct program - seem to remember reading about this problem but can't for the life of me find it now! (This happened with me using the stand alone Commando 10d as well.....)

Not sure if it happens on Enigma too - the missus came home and needed her Corrie fix......!!

Any ideas on a fix please peeps?

Both platforms take a while to populate the EPG data, and they don't do it in chronlogical order, either! I'm referring to how long it takes after a power up restart, by the way.

Usually, everything is in place after 5 to 10 mins- so don't expect accurate Now 'n Next even, in the first minute or so. 'Now' might be correct- but 'Next' might be 6 hours later, while the 'middle' is loading...

Hollyoaks is on 6.30 - 7.00 followed by Channel 4 News 7.00 - 8.00
This is what the EPG is telling me, either when pressing the red then green button or just pressing the info button.
The LCD EPG is displaying Hollyoaks with the bar which shows how long the program has been on for, but when the program finishes and the time changes to 7.00 it still displays Hollyoaks and the bar disappears. The LCD EPG will only display the correct program if I change channel and then flick back again: ie 7.00 Channel 4 News.

Just to re-iterate, if I go into the EPG on screen it is fine. It is the LCD EPG that is not updating.

Could you please double check this with your "screen and lcd now and next", and your "screen and lcd progress bar" and confirm the area you are in.

Forget epg fow now, need propper reports on the telly infobar and the box lcd

Getting mixed reports about this that look like area issues....

Infobar on TV (pressing '?' on remote) is right until a new program starts then it just stays blank and the programs don't change. However, pressing the centre button on the remote to bring up the EPG displays correctly!

I'm in Gloucester (V*rgin area).

Now that you mention about the area, there is no Gloucester option with this image or the Commando 10d image I was using previously in the Select My Location menu. I have to use Cheltenham 2.

Could this be the problem then do you think? Other images, Laky-Sylas for example, have a Gloucester option and update ok.

Set My Location (SML) is specific to cydine's Fast Scan only, m8. It doesn't affect EPG / Progress bars in the Infobar and LCD. In fact, it's not even an essential part of an image, if you know your local NetID, Freq and SymRate!

Ah I see, in that case then i know that the NetID, frequency, etc are 100% correct for my area so the problem I'm getting must be something to do with the image then.........?

What area is Gloucester?

Is is Ex-cw, TW or NTL Pure?

Reason I ask is some areas send epg/infobar data differently, hence why it may be an area issue still....

Sorry to be such a noob but I have been out of the "scene" for sometime,

I have just flashed my mates nokia dbox2 with the C10d image and set it up all fine,

Then just noticed this thread, what benefit would there be to flashing this image instead?

You have the choice off switching between two images so if you like neutrino and enigma then this is the image for you as they are both in the same image at a press of a button.
