Dbox1 - not dbox2

no u haven't - check the back of ur box got 2 or 3 scarts

2 = dbox2
3 = dbox1

I've been playing with Dbox 2s for ten years. Every time I see a Dbox 1 I throw it in the bin and keep the remote.

Remotes are worth more than the box.

have u chked signal / cable is ok with the dbox 2 or other box?

Yes, it works flawlessly with the Dbox2. Cant think of what else to try. I heard there is a settings editor for the dbox for use on windows. How would i use that given the fact there is no ethernet port? Im guessing through the serial port? I got a null modem cable that my housemate used on the dbox2 so that aint a problem, just thinking it would be easier to use on a pc than messing with the box itself and the crappy remote i got (universal kameleon)

Only the first 4 digits of the freq are entered i.e. 579.250MHz should be entered as 5792
Try symbol rate 6952 not 0695 then hit 9 search
