    Flashing with IFA problems

    Hi, wondered if anyone could help please. I am trying to flash my sageam dbox 2 with image flash assistent.

    I am usually successfull after a few attempts using a crossover cable. This time though i cant get it to work. sometimes it starts to load flash but gets stuck after backup or freezes before.

    I have changed IFA a few times to different versions coz of german versions. was wondering if there should be 3 folders in c: i have ppcboot48613, ppcboot11888, and ppcboot2793 is this right? please can you help?

      Try rennies portable ifa
      Mate runs from ram
      No need to install

                  Ive being using that with blade quade image. i find that the most stable, with my box. box keeps getting stuck on that pic with the blonde lass. I cant network on flash FTP or smart FTP either. So i need to use IFA. keeps getting stuck on flash even when i try different images. being trying for hours now, gutted. any ideas guys. pleeeeeeease.

                      Why don't you try to flash a different image other than the one that took 4 hours of your time without any results.

                      some images are temperamental do go on with some dbox's and not others.

                          Ive tried allsorts mate. I didnt used to get problems. only thing that seems different is when i load the IFA. a little box pops up in the bottom left saying starting IFA... powered by VMware. i dont think this is the problem though. ive followed all the other steps as usual. ie. turning off firewall etc. Any ideas anyone please.
