    Dbox2 advice appreciated

    Hi,

If this has been covered elsewhere apologies.

I decided last night to get my Nokia Dbox2 x2 up and running after losing channels pre xmas. The image on it was Laky Pro but I did'nt have an update at hand and decided to flash a new image. This was the first time I had done this and successfully managed to flash a 'Sporster pro 2.00' image across using the Yweb interface via my PC.

However, the image was in German (though i managed to change to english). Also, I cant find the option to change location so when I scan for channels it doesnt find anything.

Essentially, my questions are...Having flashed this across can I get some advice as to how to successfully scan channels? or should I just flash another image and make life easier? (I was thinking the new commando one but open to suggestions)

    Cheers,

    Leithjam

You would of been better staying with the old image and changing the rom7 to get it working and always make a backup of the working image then practice on other images I haven't used commando 10 but I have read alot of good reviews

        Hi, Cheers for the replies,

I haven't done anything yet mate...still at work but I'll be having a go tonight.

I am based in Motherwell (North lanarkshire ex Telewest). I have been busy downloading what I can just now so I can crack on when Im home...I have managed to get Services and Bouquests for my area from another post, I have also downloaded a couple of images (Laky Pro and Comando 10) to give me options and I have the EvoCamd file for Commando...I couldn't change my area with the Sporster image and it seemed to be searching some German Cable company...I'm thinking I might be best changing image and starting again as it only took a couple of mins to flash using the YWeb interface.

        Open to suggestions though?
