When setting up the EPG in C10d the EPG dir is blank,

is this correct? or should I set a Dir? if yes which Dir? or should I create one?

    Thanks

Under Blue button, set it to normal 15hr EPG settings then reboot - put it on the PVR-PEG channel see how it goes

EPG Directory is left blank for a good reason. In fact, we were testing this just the other day...

Look more closely- and you'll see that it actually says EPG Cache Directory - 'cache' being the operative word. It seems to duplicate whatever EPG data is already in memory to another folder, so that full EPG is still there, even after a reboot.

So clearly, the obvious cache folder- /tmp - doesn't serve much purpose, as contents of this are wiped on a reboot! And to cache the EPG to any folder under /var would stretch the already limited dbox memory resources to breaking point...

Current concensus of opinion is that this option in neutrino is only there for you lucky peeps with a network share folder on your PC, or an internal HDD fitted and mounted. On a bog standard dbox, ignore this option!!

          Cheers- AL
