Here's the info requested, obtained from cable check option
    BER 10485750
    SNR 4446 (fluctuating)
SIG 46260 (fluctuating) First this was showing "no signal" on LCD and then started showing "signal"

Let me explain what I have done so far,
    1. Dbox was working fine and suddenly stopped getting any channels, not even FTA
    2. Connect sub box and I get all the package channels working fine
    3. Connect dbox on same feed and get no channels
    4. I don't have a booster to try out.
    5. Took to a friends house and tried on his cable feed, again no channels received. Friend lives in ashton-u-lyne and I am in manchester area.

This is driving me crazy, please help. Just want to know whether the dbox is ok or not. If its faulty I will get another box probably starview 4

    2.
As true red says the snr needs to be over 55000 to get channels showing try the
SLX1P booster from argos only 8.99 if it dont work you can get a full refund
you will also need a bit of cable and a couple of rf connectors from maplin or b&q.

It might not be the signal it could be that the tuner could have gone weak stb's dont need as strong a signal as the dbox.

Okay I will try it out the booster and see what happens.

            Hi Guys

I took your advice and tried with the booster without any luck :-(

Connecting the booster made no difference to the SNR.

Without connecting the cable to the box the SNR was around 40000 to 41000. Connected the cable directly to the box the SNR showed 50000 to 51000. The cable connected to booster, no difference showed 40000 to 41000.

Please any further advice or you think the tuner or something else is wrong with the box.

            Thanks
