Lost Channels

Hi Guys

A cousin got a new contract with virgin in Bradford. Engineer came and installed a vbox.
So i got him a working Dbox and everything worked great.

3 months later channels started becoming jerky and dropping one by one.

I flashed the image.Now he's got no channels at all not even FTA. I gave it to a friend to flash, it worked great at his place but not when i plug back into my cousins house

I've tried a couple of images the box works great at my place but once I plug it into his house

a) he gets no channels (I've tried searching for channels)
b) bring it back to my place plug it in and I get no channels

It seems as though the box messes up once plugged into his house. he only lives 4 doors away from my house and my own box is fine. haven't tried my box at his place yet cos where i have it, it's kinda difficult

Can anyone help? I've tried everything but my own box.
original vbox works fine

are you in the same area, cuz if not what you describe will probably happen ?

Well, the obvious question HAS to be: Is his subbed box still working OK? If no- then call them out to fix it. If yes- then you have a dodgy splitter or crap patch cable. Or maybe he's stopped paying, so they've cut him off at the cabinet in the street, so no incoming signal?
