help with my dbox

can anyone help me out??
i have a chipped dbox, and no idea what to do with it.
ages ago my channels went, and i tried to rescan, but messed the whole lot up and erased all the channels.
after a year or so in a cardboard box, i've decided to dig it back out and try again.
the box loads up, but comes up switch! no services found. any idea what i can do?
talk to me as tho i'm a 5 year old coz i have no idea when it comes to technical stuff

what box is it? def a dbox2 - 2 scarts and not a dbox - 3 scarts?

if its a dbox2 b4 u flash an img u need to know whether its got 1 or 2 chips....

is it a nokia or sagem?
