I reckon there'll be a lot more work to do in a PB image than that, Paul. None of the usual 'groundwork' and symlinks will be in place like in a normal FTA UK image, which means a manual type of setup is required. Very much like you'd have to do to get a DietmarW neutrino image up and running...

First off- you can't use your neutrino services and bouquets directly in an Enigma image. You need to convert these to enigma format, using Bouquet Wixard 3.0 or Dreambox Edit. Either of these programs will then FTP the finished files to the dbox, but this is where you need to choose the correct target path: /var/tuxbox/config/enigma

Now to the basics... A vital file that will almost certainly be missing is: /lib/libcrypto.so.0.9.7 - so dig this out of another image and FTP it across. I think it needs to be chmod 755 attributes in order to work.

Send evocamd to the /bin folder and chmod it to 755
Next, edit /etc/init.d/start_enigma by adding /bin/evocamd & directly above the line that reads unset TZ (if you see a line that reads camd2 - then just change this to /bin/evocamd & )

Still awake? Now look at the /var folder and see if there's an item named scce in there. If there is, your three rom7 files plus camd_cfg and Autoupdate.Key can all be sent to /var/keys/

If there isn't - then make a new folder called scce under /var and send the three rom7 files into there, and the other two files to /var/keys folder. BTW, none of these files need changing from the default chmod 644 attributes.

And that's it! Reboot- switch to an encrypted channel, and within a couple of minutes, your testing and educational experience can begin!

        Cheers- AL

Damn- I've just wasted 20 minutes of my life!

Try a uk Enigma image, then you should have a working UK infobar and other UK things.

However, UK infobar patch is now in the E1 CVS so future Enigma1 images from PB (and others) should have this included, unless they take it out again.
