mtd.3 transfering problem

hi peeps

i need a little advice please.
i have a very good image working well on one box
how do i get this image from that box to another box via ftp.

i gave the mtd.3 file a go at transfering over but never worked, i dont know where to put it .
any advice would be helpfull

u'l need to back up the image on the working box transfer it to your computer and then ftp to you other box under the "temp" folder and then flash from ur remote

Hi m8
the mtd3 image goes in the tmp folder of your box make sure the box you are going to flash is the same as the other ie if its a 1x that the other box is the same a 1x.
tip (all nokia dboxs are 2x boxes)
after you ftp the mtd3 img to tmp folder do not power down the box via remote remember to select flash one partition without bootloader.

should only take about 5 to 10 mins you will see a 2 levels on screen overall progress and curent task progress.

jus make sure both ur boxes are the same kind ie x1 or x2

reboot the box before you transfer the mtd.3 file into temp to clear out all the temp files first. If you don't either the transfer of the file could fail or the flash may fail when you come to do it.
