    Missing Channels and bad reception

    Hi All,

I have a nokia dbox2 and have recently lost some channels and am getting terrible reception on the ones i have.

I have read through the various posts and am thinking about flashing my dbox2 with a new image.

Can you please advise on the following: -

    1) what is the best image to use
    2) how to transfer the new image to the dbox2 and flash it using a crossover cable and flashfxp

I look forward to your comments guys.

    Regards,

        The Channels are all there

The channels' frequency has changed but its all there with a few extras, but some channels are sticking before completely dying.
I have never flashed my box. I am used to flashing Eurovox, Digivox & Starview but I have some kind of phobia with regards to the Nokia DBox2.
        Can someone PLEASE help...

        THanks.

There are plenty of images in the dloads section to try. See which one works best and is most stable for your box. There is no definite answer to which is the best image as all especially the latest are top notch. Also make sure you know whether your box is 1x or 2x chip so you don't flashed the wrong image. Hope this helps

I'm using the commando 11 image

I'm pretty sure its not the signal although it is split from the official Virgin receiver but has been since i got it and i never used to have any problems.

Would a new cam i.e 2.17 fix this issue as i want to get sky sports news back

                  please help.

Scan from the direct feed take the splitter out. You can put it back after the scan.

Turn fast scan off as some transponders may have changed in your area and will need to be updated. If channels are still missing try a bruteforce scan.
