HI to all, the problem I am having with my box has only occured since we had the lightning last week. Prior to this everything worked ok apart from having to reflash a couple of times. The symptoms are the box powers up fine loads properly but when I try to scan it finds 340 transponders but will not find the channels. I have tried to connect it to a dig aerial to see if I get the FTA but still nothing.Do you guys think it could be the BFG 94 transistor or one of the two resistors that protect against surge, or do v....n have a built in surge protector in there system.... baffling??? Tried different images but nothing... thanks for any ideas this ones stummped me a bit, the bfg94 can be bought from RS ?4.10 for five....

Sagem or Nokia? what image you using? sounds like it's finding too many transponders - have you set your location then rebooted. When in the scan menu, see if the NETID/FREQ settings are there and not greyed out. -
Hi ManofScience thanks for your reply, the dbox is a Nokia 2x, at the moment I have flashed blade final on it but when the problem started I was running Laky stylus, yes I tried my location on both Nottm settings and re scanned but still nothing, surely if it was not a tuner issue I would have at least have some free to air channels or am I barking up the wrong tree bud.....thanksComment

one of the lakys imgs (i think) had a bug, where service files were lost when boxes were powered down, there were a lot of threads on this one time...
