    SAGEM DBOX2 HELP...

Hi, can someone help me with my dbox, actually all my channels disappeared and I tried to do and autoupdate, was fiddling around and now my dbox would freeze after booting up, it stucks on a channels, remote won't work and it won't let me do anything.

Anyone out there who can help, thanks.

I think if you reflash an image it should come ok.

If you can manage to ftp to the box, copy over an image to /tmp then use the menus to reflash it before it freezes, that should do it.

Or else you'll need to use IFA (Image Flashing Assistant).

Thanks for ur reply...I seem to get stuck after it boots, the loader would load at boot followed by globe spining on LCD and then channel would come up and thats it, it will freeze there with no remote access. I cannot even bring it to standby.

Guessing from this connecting it via FTP is not possible, though I also have a null modem cable which I think will do the job, any other solution out there, thanks.

IFA needed to reflash it then, use your null modem cable and ethernet cable when using IFA.

You should start your own thread but the simple info is that you do not need to reflash, scanning should bring back all the channels.
