Hi to all, the problem I have is that I have a nokia Dbox 2 that was fully up and running until the tuner gave up the ghost. I have bought another box but it has not been used for ages and to get the thing working I had to manually put the keys in. Can I transfer the whole lot( image plus k..ys etc) from one box to my computor and then to the good box with a null modem? If so would one of you kind gentlemen tell me how. many thanks...

First of all you will need a crossover cable, then you will need to d/load this guide and program>>>>>Digital Kaos - Downloads - FlashFxp
After you have d/loaded the program and read the guide on how to connect your box to your pc and have successfully connected your box to your pc.
Press the dbox button scroll down to dbox service then press on that then press on image upgrade/back up then on back up one partition then on flash without bootloader now your image will back up under tmp/mtd3.img. Do Not Turn Your Box Off
Now go to var/tmp in your ftp program(the program that you are using to connect to your box)and you will see your back up (mtd3.img) now save to your pc where you can find it later.
Now connect your working box to the crossover cable and connect to your box using the ftp program then go to var/tmp and transfer the file you saved from your other box. Do Not Turn Your Box Off until you have saved it with the remote.
How to save the image with the remote:
Press the dbox button then press on dbox service then on image upgrade/back up then on write one partition then on flash without boot loader then press on the image, now your box will flash the image over. Then reboot your box after the image as transferred.
